The staff was friendly and the food was good. Some complain about the price, but you could spend the same money at McDonald's and get worse quality. I was happy with the size and flavor of the buger and the mac-n-cheese bites were yummy.

I hadn't ever eaten at Whataburger!!! Man the double patty cheeseburger fries and banana shake. Everything was so good. I'll be back!

This place is a little gem in Richmond. After all these years they are still here. It’s nothing like a good burger & breakfast. Their food is made to order. Fresh & fast every single time. We had the bacon egg & cheese and bologna burger along with their hashbrowns. Then we went back later and got some burgers. If you’re looking for one of the best burgers in town. This is where you should go to. Don’t let the looks fool you. Oh & they don’t have biscuits here.

Good Ole, What-a-Burger. This place gets slammed at lunchtime. it had been a while since I've been to one and never been to this location. I beat the heavy rush, but still was about 3ppl deep to order. Got a burger all the way, with bacon and grilles onions. Food was fairly fast since they made it fresh for you. Tasted good, fries were a bit undercooked, but nothing too bad. They have a number of tables and a counter you can sit at. Not very big. Few picnic tables outside but it was raining when I went. Burger, fries, and a drink for just under $16, not too bad. Much better than a McDonald's or BK burger, almost how mom would have made it at home.

In the time honored tradition of hamburger joints, such as Roy's Big Burger of Lakeside, this fast-food eatery still has one of Virginia's best burgers for the money. On a recent Saturday afternoon, it was a welcome sight to see that the people behind the counter are able to serve a great single burger that has good griddle flavor, but also excellent water-soaked french fries, plus a good, icy, sweet pink lemonade, too. It is also wonderful to stand in line with some nice mannered and friendly blue-collar people who are out of the house to enjoy some great, relaxing weather and good food, and be served by a kind-hearted and efficient prep staff.

One of three What-a-Burger locations left in VA; one in Newport News, one on Jefferson Davis Hwy, and the Roy's in Richmond. Hamburgers that taste like Beef , fresh fries , and cold shakes makes these locations a great lunch spot !! And don't forget about the Onion Rings! Killer!! Still can't beat the lunch or value!!
